Convalescence Care

About Convalecence Care
Convalescence Care is the gradual recovery of health and strength after illness or injury. It refers to the later stage of an infectious disease or illness when the patient recovers and returns to normal, but may continue to be a source of infection even if feeling better. In this sense, “recovery” can be considered a synonymous term.

This also sometimes includes patient care after a major surgery, under which they are required to visit the doctor for regular check-ups.

Our Convalescence Care Services include:
  • Specialized medical and rehabilitation therapeutic support
  • An individual care plan to help you regain your strength and independence
  • Guidance for your family and caregivers to best support you when you return home.

Our multi-disciplinary care team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, dietitians, social workers and members of the spiritual and religious care community.

They will work with you to make sure you get the services you need, when you need them. Quality health and person-centred care will be provided in your room to allow for privacy, rest and comfort.
